The first testimony of healing that I had ever heard was from my boss at 16 years old.
I was not going to church, I was not reading the bible and God was not on my radar. At the time my only response was “Wow, that’s crazy” because I knew what she was saying was real, but I never heard of a healing God.

She and her husband and been married for pretty much their lifetime. They ran the family-owned and handed-down restaurant. She was not the kind of person to waste work time on nonsense stories, she believed that “if you have time to lean, you have time to clean”. No moments were wasted.

She talked about a time she had cancer behind her ear and she went into surgery to have it removed. She said that she didn’t know until later but during the surgery, her husband who was a very tough exterior man, was balling his eyes out praying to God saying he couldn’t lose her.
During the surgery, a miracle happened. They sliced open the area and there was a white small ball that was not supposed to be there. It was removed, and what shocked the doctors was that in the doctor’s hand, the white ball turned to powder. No trace of cancer anymore and she was healed. They both knew without a shadow of a doubt it was God.

At that point in life, there had already been countless times God had moved powerfully in my life but it wasn’t until I was in my mid-twenties that I made the connection.
